Dreaming Cow Creamery was created to provide our supporters with high quality, socially responsible dairy products that help to ensure their health, the health of the environment and the health of the farmers and cows who provide the milk. 

Spring time is full of life on the dairies. This lucky heifer will be raised and weaned all on pasture. We use no stuffy barns or cramped calf pens.

Dreaming Cow uses only the highest quality of milk collected from our family’s own grass grazed, Jersey-cross herds.   Our cows are never housed in barns and live on expertly managed grasslands year round.  The low stress lifestyle, coupled with a natural grass based diet and the calm interaction of our farmers has helped to create milk that is unmatched in quality and in taste which we believe you will immediately be able to recognize and love just as we do.

Dreaming Cow Creamery is a family enterprise owned and operated by Kyle and Janelle Wehner.  Kyle met Janelle in New Zealand during their studies at University.  Following University our lives took us to the South Island for work, where one late winter night we developed the idea of Dreaming Cow Creamery.  Fast forward 6 months, one wedding and one world tour later, we were working diligently at creating a processing facility and the products that would be brought out of it in the rural surroundings of Southwest Georgia.

Dreaming Cow Creamery officially launched in October of 2009 with three products and you can view our yogurts here.

Kyle’s sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Jeremy Little, own and operate Sweet Grass Dairy which also uses milk from the same farms as well as their own goats’ milk.  Allan and Desiree Wehner, Kyle’s parents and founders of all three of the family’s grass based dairies, manage the dairy farms which provide our milk.
